Grant's HobbiesThe most recent addiction, I mean addition, to my hobbies is Rubik's cubes and similar types of puzzles. It's not uncommon to see me carrying around a cubes (of different sizes) or a megaminx (a 12-sided puzzle). Yes, I can solve these puzzles! I haven't done much (at least not yet!), but click here to see more about the cube. Some day I'll get around to putting up an easy solution, as well as steps to becoming a speed cubist. In the mean time, check out SpeedCubing.com for more on that.I used to love to rollerblade, especially roller-hockey and racing. During the summer of 1996, I took third in a 5K competition sponsered by Rollerblade. I still skate when I get a chance, but it's not as big for me as it used to be. I also consider my computer programming a hobby. My current job is software development, but I also enjoy programming for fun, on the side (when I have time). I don't get a chance for it very much, though. Programming computer games is a potential career, but for now, it's just a hobby. I'm not really all that into it anymore, but I also enjoy having my frog collection, and every once in a while, I still add to it. |
